2010 Honda Civic LX w/41k miles for $11,250

I’m looking to sell my gray 2010 Honda Civic LX sedan with just over 41,000 miles on it for $11,250. It has power windows and locks, AM/FM stereo with CD player and AUX input, cruise control, and a remote starter which I am throwing in for free! It also gets great gas mileage. It’s in very good condition, with all tires replaced June 2014 and new battery in August 2014. I’m moving to Boston on June 7 and would love to sell it by then.

Please email me at [email protected] if you’re interested or have any questions.

Car For Sale: 2002 5-Speed Acura RSX With Low Miles

I am selling my 5-speed manual transmission 2002 Acura RSX because I will be moving out of state at the end of May.  The car has 87,000 miles and is in great shape for its year.  The engine runs well and all maintenance has been completed as scheduled.  Major features include front wheel drive, which is great for winter driving, power steering, power windows, AM/FM stereo with CD player and AUX input for a media player, moon roof, cruise control.  The car is mostly stock but has been enhanced with an AEM cold air intake, DC Headers, and Eibach spring shocks.  It is a lot of fun to drive, gets great gas milage, and has impressive trunk space.  There is a crack on the front driver’s side bumper and the price has been adjusted accordingly.  Otherwise there is just normal wear and tear without any major mechanical problems.  I am asking for $5000 but will hear other reasonable offers.  Please email or call if you have any questions or want to take a look at the car. 1999 Toyota 4Runner

I am selling my 1999 Toyota 4Runner. it is a great car, in very good shape with little rust on the body and undercarriage. It has 187k, automatic transmission, brand new tires, new exhaust system and new radiator. It is an absolute tank, does great in the snow but is also pretty good on gas (rated at 17-20 mpg). Fits skis and sports equipment, people and is a perfect car for the UV.
It does have a couple notable, but completely cosmetic problems. The most noticeable is the rear bumper, which is shown in a close up pic. I bought it like that and didn’t end up fixing it because I didn’t much care about the looks, but you can replace it with aftermarket parts for approx. $300. I ended up not doing that because with the rust/salt on the roads out here it is hard to keep them pristine anyway.
The second thing is kind of a nuisance thing, but not at all mechanically indicated as I’ve had it checked out by a couple of shops. The gas gauge works only sometimes, and usually not very accurately, seemingly fluctuating with the temperature.  It will frequently read a blinking orange as though you’re imminently about to run out of fuel, even right after filling it up, thought unpredictably. It’s apparently a somewhat common Toyota issue – basically what needs to happen is the fuel sensor mechanism (the “fuel sending unit”) has to be replaced, but to do that, there’s significant labor involved in dropping the fuel tank itself to get access to that part. I was quoted around $500, which I didn’t feel was worth it because it’s not really a problem. I just measure miles using the tripometer, which works perfectly.
The Kelly Blue Book value for it in “Good condition” is $4,600, but to reflect the damage to the bumper and the annoying fuel gauge issue, I’m willing to take the “Fair condition” value of $3,900. I’ve spent significant money on getting the new exhaust in, new radiator and new all-season tires. Rodney at B&R’s garage in Lebanon has done the majority of the work on it, though the exhaust was done at Northeast Foreign Cars in WRJ. There’s really nothing you need to do to keep it running that I haven’t already spent the cash on  – I would absolutely keep it but I have no need for it in DC with access to my another car. I think it will run forever like most Toyotas if attended to…
Anyway, please find attached some pics of the car. I’d be happy to set up a time to drive it around with you, as well.

2001 PT Cruiser $2500 OBO

I have a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Edition in dark blue that I need to sell as soon as possible. I’m the third owner, a non-smoker with no pets. The previous owner was also a non-smoker with no pets. I have driven this car everywhere and I love it, but I’m living in Boston now and it’s just too expensive to keep it in the city, especially since I hardly ever drive it anymore. I am willing to drive it out to you but only for VERY interested buyers as it will cost me a good bit of time and money to make a trip for someone who decides not to buy after all.

Miles: 164,000
Gas Mileage: approx. 25 highway, 23 city
Transmission: Automatic
Power windows, side mirrors and locks
Electric sliding sun roof
Heated front seats
CD and cassette player
Back seats fold up

I also have a USB hookup for the lighter and a cassette adapter for an iPod that I will gladly hand over with the car.

I recently had it detailed and put new brakes and rotors on about 3,000 miles ago. I get the oil changed regularly and the car runs like a dream. The only problem I’ve had with it is that the “check engine” light comes on and stays on; I’ve had it checked out a couple of times now and was basically told that it was due to the car not recycling fuel to lower emissions quite as efficiently as the engine would like, but that it shouldn’t affect the car’s performance and would be more expensive to fix than it was worth.

Since the light started coming on I’ve driven it from Maine to Indiana, from Indiana to Georgia, and from Georgia to California and then back to Boston with no problems. It’s a great car for a student, especially when you move in and out of dorms and apartments every year or so. I used it to move to NH from Georgia for grad school and was able to fit all my belongings into it in one trip!

When I bought the car from its previous owner it had a small, one-inch tear in the leather on the back seat, passenger side, and some shallow dings around the edge of the back door.
